Motion Graphic Designer

Kenyans.co.ke, one of the leading media houses in the country, is seeking an experienced Motion Graphic Designer to tell stories, explain ideas and elevate brands across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who blends strong design thinking with technical animation skills and a sharp sense of storytelling. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and animate motion graphics for videos, social media, ads, explainers and live productions

• Translate briefs and concepts into engaging visual narratives

• Collaborate with producers, editors and designers to deliver high-quality content

• Create titles, lower thirds, transitions and animated visual elements

• Ensure brand consistency across all motion assets

• Work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining creative excellence

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role

• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro

• Good working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop

• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing and visual rhythm

• Strong design sense including typography, colour and composition

• Ability to interpret creative briefs and work independently

• A strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics and animation work
