Miml Business Development Officer – Retail Business

Position Overview

The Business Development Officer – Retail Business will be based at the Company's Head Office. This role reports to the Deputy Business Development Manager – Retail Business and is responsible for acquisition and growth of business from the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Acquisition – Grow sales of Unit Trust Funds and Wealth Management products marketed to the retail business sectors
• Client Retention – Maintain and grow the Funds Under Management held by retail clients
• Client Growth – Grow the number of retail clients and maintain a high level of client relationships
• IFA Growth – Recruit, train, and manage independent financial agents
• Marketing Activities – Work closely with the Business Development and marketing teams to manage marketing activities and generate increased production from targeted segments

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree
• 1 year of experience in retail sales, preferably in the financial services industry
• Certification in sales and marketing courses (advantageous)

• Strong sales delivery capability and ability to build business relationships
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
