About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to lead comprehensive marketing initiatives for their beauty and cosmetics product lines.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote beauty and cosmetics products across various channels
• Lead end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social media, events, in-store promotions) aligned with brand objectives
• Manage brand positioning and consumer insights, ensuring all messaging is consistent, compelling, and relevant to the target audience
• Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, e-commerce platforms, email marketing, and social media presence
• Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer demands, and opportunities for differentiation and market expansion
• Manage the marketing budget efficiently, track KPIs, analyze campaign performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product development) to ensure seamless product launches and participate in marketing events and trade shows

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience with significant focus on cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG sectors
• In-depth knowledge of beauty products, market dynamics, consumer behavior, and retail environments specific to the Kenyan cosmetics landscape (Key requirement)
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM software
• Creative thinker with strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Based in or near Nairobi, Kenya, with ability to work from the office and travel for events as required
