Job Purpose
The Marketing Executive will support the Marketing function in delivering its objectives by recruiting students, marketing University programmes, and advising on current market trends based on market surveys and competitive analysis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Student Recruitment
- Sell courses to prospective clients and meet monthly sales targets as agreed with the line manager
- Activate recruitment through various channels including churches, schools, companies, and other organizations
Market Surveys and Competitive Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities including business performance (registrations, populations, programmes offered, pricing, and facilities)
- Analyze competitor marketing strategies including advertisements and promotions
- Track expansion and growth activities of competitors including new branches and collaborations
- Identify and monitor new market entrants
- Collect market intelligence to identify new and potential market opportunities
- Assess demand, University brand positioning, and market awareness
- Communicate all acquired market information to the Marketing Manager with actionable proposals
Direct Marketing Communications
- Deploy marketing materials including posters, fliers, and other promotional content
- Ensure strategic, consistent, and effective placement of marketing materials in legally permitted and beneficial locations targeting appropriate market segments
- Maintain all deployed marketing materials
Events and Brand Representation
- Coordinate and represent the University at conferences, seminars, and exhibitions
- Promote awareness of the University and its credentials through event participation
Product Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all courses offered by the University
