Marketing Executives - North Eastern at Management University Of Africa

Job Purpose

The Marketing Executive will support the Marketing function in delivering its objectives by recruiting students, marketing University programmes, and advising on current market trends based on market surveys and competitive analysis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Student Recruitment

• Sell courses to prospective clients and meet monthly sales targets as agreed with the line manager
• Utilize various recruitment methods including activation of churches, schools, companies, and other target organizations

Market Analysis and Surveys

• Monitor and analyze competitor activities including business performance, registrations, student populations, programmes offered, pricing, and facilities
• Track competitor marketing strategies such as advertisements and promotions
• Monitor expansion and growth activities of competitors including new branches and collaborations
• Identify new market entrants
• Collect market intelligence to identify new and potential market opportunities and assess product demand
• Evaluate University brand positioning and awareness
• Communicate all acquired information to the Marketing Manager with actionable proposals

Direct Marketing Communications

• Ensure effective utilization of all marketing mechanisms including strategic, consistent, and aggressive placement of marketing materials in legally permitted and beneficial locations
• Target appropriate market segments through poster, flier, and other marketing materials
• Maintain all marketing materials in good condition
• Coordinate and represent the University at events such as conferences, seminars, and exhibitions to promote awareness and credentials
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all courses offered by the University
