Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with machinery.
- Repair or replace faulty parts promptly to ensure minimal downtime in production.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize overall efficiency and safety.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machines and technical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and labor hours.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Keep work areas organized and ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address broader operational issues.
- Follow machine-specific procedures and maintenance schedules as directed by management.
- Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in machine maintenance or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address complex machinery issues.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic with equipment.
- Knowledge of safety practices and adherence to safety standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or on-call if needed.
