About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer-centric service in our Nakuru Branch office. As Life Area Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering individual life business top-line and bottom-line growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales teams to maximize profitability and shareholder value through sustainable business growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Carry out office administration and ensure compliance with County and National Government requirements
- Gather market intelligence on future trends to improve service and product offerings while monitoring competitive activity
- Coach, mentor, develop, train, motivate and evaluate sales team and staff to achieve peak performance levels
- Plan and drive brand awareness and market penetration to grow market share in the Western Region
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Prepare, monitor and report on Life business budgetary allocations for the Nakuru Branch
- Lead and manage Life business communications at the branch level
- Identify, implement and benchmark best practices in management
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients through agency management support
- Manage and implement change initiatives aligned with business plans and organizational culture
- Recruit, train, develop and retain intermediaries and alternative distribution channels
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a business-related field
- Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification
- Certificate of Proficiency
- Minimum 5 years of relevant insurance industry experience
- Work experience in Life Business product marketing within the region (advantageous)
