About the Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Kibabii University College in Nairobi, Kenya as a Lecturer/Research Fellow in Health Management Systems.

Requirements for Appointment

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• PhD or equivalent degree qualification (or a Master's degree qualification in special cases) in the relevant area from a recognized/accredited University
• A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least 16 should be from refereed journal papers
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Lecture in area of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
• Coordinate course projects and practical work
• Prepare teaching and learning materials
• Set, invigilate, and mark examinations and assignments
• Carry out research work in the relevant field or specialization
• Prepare student progress reports
• Develop proposals for research funding
• Write journal articles and books
• Present academic papers at conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia
• Develop and review academic programmes and curricula
