An earned Ph.D. in Internal Medicine field from an accredited or recognized university

Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine from a recognized University or fellowship (CANECSAA) in Internal Medicine

Have a minimum of twenty four (24) research and publications points, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journal papers

Be registered with a relevant professional body
