## Title: Law Professor

About the Position

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within the Law department at Africa Nazarene University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
  • Review curriculum and course outlines and develop course and lesson plans
  • Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
  • Employ various teaching methods (such as field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities) to facilitate student learning and deliver course content
  • Develop learning assessment plans
  • Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship, and research work
  • Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas, publishing findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
  • Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
  • Advise students on academic, career, and related issues when required
  • Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits as required
  • Participate in departmental administrative, field operations, and programs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as an Associate Professor
  • Minimum sixty (60) publication points as an Associate Professor or equivalent, of which at least forty (40) must be from refereed scholarly journals
  • National, Regional, and international recognition for research
  • Supervised at least five (5) postgraduate students to completion, including at least two (2) doctoral students
  • Demonstrated ability to attract research funds as an Associate Professor or equivalent
