About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement high-quality curriculum
• Review curriculum and course outlines, developing comprehensive course and lesson plans
• Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
• Employ diverse teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities to facilitate student learning
• Develop and implement learning assessment plans
• Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship programs, and research work
• Conduct research in specialist areas and publish findings in professional journals, books, and electronic media
• Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
• Advise students on academic, career, and related matters
• Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and industrial linkages as required
• Participate in departmental administrative, field operations, and programs

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Senior Lecturer, or six (6) years of senior research/industry experience
• A minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least thirty-two (32) must be from peer-reviewed scholarly journals
• National, regional, and international recognition for research
• Supervised at least four (4) postgraduate students to completion, including at least one doctoral student
• Demonstrated ability to attract research funding as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Research Fellow
