Position Overview

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to drive investment promotion initiatives and support the growth of warehouse receipt systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement guidelines, standards, frameworks, and plans on investment promotion
• Scan and propose potential investment opportunities
• Support investments in the development of privately and publicly managed warehouses
• Implement business and investment plans in collaboration with stakeholders
• Undertake market surveys to identify investments and business opportunities
• Facilitate implementation of investment projects focused on marketing
• Map investment opportunities along the value chain and prepare investor profiles
• Link depositors to financial institutions for warehouse receipt financing
• Prepare investment promotion programmes for local and international markets
• Identify trends and growth opportunities for WRS investment
• Prepare content for investor manuals
• Participate in investor conferences, forums, and related activities
• Prepare aftercare programs for investors
• Link investors to value chains participating in WRS
• Analyze investment promotion data
• Participate in investment promotion activities and compile reports

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of service in the grade of Investment Promotion Officer II
• Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
