Internet Installer- Nairobi

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with dispatch to manage daily appointments and service schedules
• Test electrical equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning of routers and service infrastructure
• Install and remove materials and equipment at customer premises
• Guide, coordinate, and oversee fellow installers on job sites
• Evaluate and monitor the performance and quality standards of sub-contractors within assigned areas
• Educate customers on the features and functionality of installed products
• Identify and present add-on sales opportunities to customers
• Maintain installation tools and equipment in safe working order
• Complete tasks within allotted time frames while maintaining quality standards
• Assist with parts, shipping, receiving, and inventory management as needed
• Review paperwork and documentation with customers
• Work in confined spaces, various weather conditions, and heights while maintaining physical fitness
• Wear all required identification, safety, and courtesy equipment at all times

Required Qualifications

• Valid motorcycle or motorcar driver's license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working at heights and from ladders
• Job-specific technical skills such as splicing and racking
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to listen to client concerns
• College degree (preferred)
• Previous trade experience (a plus)
