The Position:
- Under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist, GBV Response, the intern will support UNFPA in implementing the Women at the Centre project, which focuses on strengthening GBV case management systems worldwide through capacity building, professionalization of the social service workforce, and system-wide learning.
- Specifically, the intern will assist in establishing a global platform for knowledge sharing and technical support by helping to maintain a Community of Practice (CoP) and develop a global repository of GBV case management resources.
- This role will involve organizing and managing knowledge-sharing platforms, facilitating south-south learning, and providing support for programme follow-up, reporting, and country-level coordination. A work-plan with achievements for the duration of the Internship and learning opportunities will be agreed upon. Periodic progress meetings will support professional development for the Intern, enhancing her/his skills and capacity in areas related to UNFPA’s mandate.

- Assist in collecting, organizing, and cataloguing GBV case management tools, protocols, and resources for the global repository.
- Ensure resources are properly tagged, described, and uploaded in original and translated versions.
- Coordinate with HQ staff to review and approve materials for inclusion.
- Support the ongoing activities of the CoP, including scheduling and coordinating webinars, learning sessions, and technical committee meetings.
- Maintain online platforms (Google repository, communication forums, listserv).
- Track participation and compile summaries of discussions and resources shared.
- Support follow-up with country teams on programme activities and data collection.
