About the Role
We are seeking a qualified professional to join Phoenix Capital in Nairobi, Kenya as an Insurance and IPF Sales Officer. This position combines premium finance coordination with active sales and business development responsibilities.
Premium Finance Coordination
- Oversee and manage the insurance premium finance process from application to approval
- Collaborate with insurance brokers, underwriters, and financial institutions to facilitate premium financing for clients
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of premium finance transactions
Sales and Business Development
- Actively promote IPF products to existing and potential clients
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling related financial products
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the IPF business
- Plan, organize, and execute marketing activities within Nairobi
- Generate new leads, prospect, and build client conversations
- Penetrate new markets in asset finance, logbook loans, and insurance premium finance while staying current with market demands
- Maintain key accounts and build long-term client relationships
Product Knowledge and Client Education
- Stay updated on the features and benefits of the institution's IPF products and services
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of IPF offerings to clients
- Educate clients on the risks and rewards associated with IPF investments
- Educate and consult with clients on all insurance products and types
Payment Processing and Account Management
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of premium payments
- Reconcile premium finance accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate and distribute invoices to clients with premium finance details
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to premium financing
- Provide exceptional customer service to address client needs and concerns
Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of premium financing transactions
- Generate reports on premium financing activity for management review
