About the Role

Our engineering client in Nairobi specializes in heavy machinery spare parts, accessories, and fittings for the manufacturing, oil and gas industries. We are seeking a qualified Injector Pump Technician who is competent and able to work with various brands to join their team.

Role Objective

To provide hands-on technical expertise in the inspection, repair, maintenance, and calibration of injector pumps and related parts while supporting sales and customer service initiatives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical expertise regarding injector pumps and parts
• Inspect, repair, and maintain injectors according to specifications
• Perform tests and conduct routine maintenance and servicing on injectors
• Provide technical advice and support in supply, maintenance, and calibration of injector pumps and parts
• Test received pumps and injectors as per job orders and customer requirements
• Assist in repairing pumps and injectors with required parts
• Source sales leads and conduct regular field visits to prospects
• Conduct customer visits and provide support through training and supply of catalogues and training materials
• Develop detailed customer profiles to understand current and future requirements
• Prepare accurate quotations and inform customers of prices and stock availability in a timely manner
• Close sales and follow up with credit customers to ensure timely payment
• Respond promptly to customer complaints to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Participate in planning and execution of marketing and sales promotional activities
• Conduct comprehensive market research and develop persuasive proposals
• Assist in developing the parts distribution network through identification of potential partners
• Provide exemplary client service through timely follow-ups and tailored solutions
• Assist in record keeping, filing, and stock taking
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned
