Injector Pump Technician at Emerge Egress Consulting

Role Objective

Our Engineering client in Nairobi deals in heavy machinery spare parts, accessories, and fittings for the manufacturing, oil and gas industry. We seek a competent professional capable of working with various brands to provide technical expertise and support across injector pump operations and sales.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical expertise regarding injector pumps and related parts
• Inspect, repair, and maintain injectors and associated components
• Perform tests and conduct routine maintenance and servicing on injectors
• Assist in testing received pumps and injectors according to job orders and customer specifications
• Assist in repairing pumps and injectors with required parts
• Provide technical advice and support in supply, maintenance, and calibration of injector pumps and parts
• Source sales leads and conduct regular field visits to prospects
• Conduct customer visits and provide support through training and supply of catalogues and training materials
• Develop detailed customer profiles to understand current and future requirements
• Prepare accurate quotations to inform customers of prices and stock availability in a timely manner
• Close sales and follow up with credit customers to ensure timely payment
• Respond to customer complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
• Conduct comprehensive market research, qualify leads, and craft persuasive proposals
• Provide exemplary client service through timely follow-ups and tailored solutions
• Participate in planning and execution of marketing and sales promotional activities
• Assist in developing parts distribution networks through identification of potential partners
• Assist in record keeping, filing, and stock taking
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned
