About the Role

We are seeking qualified candidates for two internship positions in our ICT Department. As an ICT Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in system maintenance, systems administration, user support, network support, and web and application development.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform system maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software
• Execute systems administration tasks including user account management, backups, and updates
• Provide timely ICT support to staff and resolve technical issues
• Deliver network support, monitor connectivity, and ensure network security
• Participate in web development, updates, and maintenance of company platforms
• Support application development and testing activities
• Document ICT processes and maintain accurate records
• Complete other duties assigned by ICT supervisors

Minimum Requirements

• Be an unemployed Kenyan graduate from a recognized training institution who completed their degree within the last three years with no previous work experience related to your field of study
• Must not have retired or exited from formal employment
• Must not have benefited from a similar programme
• Hold a Degree or Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages
• Familiarity with system administration environments (Windows/Linux)
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
