ICT Architecture & Data Governance Manager at National Bank of Kenya

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join the National Bank of Kenya as ICT Architecture & Data Governance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture & Applications Development, you will be responsible for developing IT information models and establishing a comprehensive technology governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop IT information models including data structures, schemas, information types, and workflows for IT systems in use or to be procured by the Bank, in alignment with Bank policy, business processes, architecture standards, and best practices
• Investigate enterprise and customer requirements for the content and structure of information deliverables
• Lead governance and innovation in data by identifying and enabling data capabilities across the enterprise
• Architect data solutions ensuring performance, fault tolerance, and security with reusable patterns
• Propose data security measures and techniques, guiding their implementation across the organization
• Lead end-to-end data lifecycle management activities and provide guidance on best practices
• Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that drives technology and solutions development standards
• Provide common approaches for integration across enterprise applications, processes, and data
• Create architecture artifacts, frameworks, and patterns as references for development teams across the organization
• Govern processes and solutions while ensuring the Enterprise Architecture taxonomy is leveraged organization-wide
• Research, analyze, and promote data standards for enterprise-wide use
• Define and communicate technical standards to enable acquisition, development, and deployment of IT solutions and services
• Maximize interoperation and re-use of IT assets while minimizing duplication and service incidents
• Simplify the IT environment across the Bank
