Position Overview
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within the Kenya Rural Roads Authority. Two posts are available in Nairobi.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementing human resource management policies, laws, regulations, procedures and systems
- Drafting and verification of routine correspondences
- Processing of salaries, allowances, benefits and final dues
- Verifying the payroll
- Collating and analysing training applications
- Processing employee recruitment, promotion and exit documents
- Processing of leave applications, sick sheets and sick offs
- Updating of Staff Medical details, National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) records
- Maintaining complement control
- Updating human resource database
- Collating data on work environment and employees' satisfaction surveys
- Preparing periodic progress reports
Qualifications Required
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have one of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
OR
- Bachelor's Degree in any of the following fields: Public Administration, Sociology, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, plus a Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution
