About the Role
Sarova Hotels is seeking a qualified and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Nairobi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key HR functions, supporting employee relations, and ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, including casual staff
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Own payroll administration and benefits management, ensuring timely and precise processing
- Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to management with insights and recommendations
- Initiate and oversee staff training and development programmes to promote continuous learning
- Coordinate and manage disciplinary processes in line with company policy, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
- Handle employee queries and provide clear guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace environment
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and company policies
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in human resources or administrative roles
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resources Management
