About the Opportunity

We are expanding our database of freelance translators to meet the translation needs of our Marketing, Technical, and Retail clients. We are seeking a motivated professional fluent in the English to Uzbek language pair.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full translation services from English into Uzbek
• Perform post-editing and proofreading of translated content
• Deliver high-quality translations for Marketing, Technical, and Retail sectors, including consumer-facing guides

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

• A degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized institution of higher education
• 2 years of translation experience and a college degree
• 5 years of translation experience (without a degree)
• A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body

Required Skills & Experience

• Fluency in both English and Uzbek (Uzbekistan)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Specialized knowledge in Marketing, Retail, and Technical subject matters
• Meticulous attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
• Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines
• Experience with post-editing and proofreading services
