## Title: Finance and HR Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance and HR Administrator to join our established company in Nairobi. This position combines financial administration (60%) with human resources support (40%), requiring a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple responsibilities across both departments while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Finance Administration Responsibilities (60%)

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process and reconcile invoices and vendor payments, ensuring accurate coding within the General Ledger
  • Generate and send client invoices and track all outstanding receivables, including debt collection follow-up
  • Manage and reconcile company credit card statements and employee expense reports

Payroll Support

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations and statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF) and other benefits
  • Maintain and update employee payroll and benefits records

Reporting & Compliance

  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist the CFO in preparing preliminary financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with local Kenyan financial regulations (KRA requirements) and internal company policies

Human Resources Administration Responsibilities (40%)

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate professionally with candidates
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Prepare new hire contracts, complete onboarding paperwork, and manage employee file setup

Employee Records & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records (digital and physical files)
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs and annual leave tracking
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Kenyan labor laws and company HR policies

General HR Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for routine internal HR inquiries and support
