Director, Research and Business Development

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Director, Research and Business Development. Reporting to the Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing research and business development initiatives for the Examinations Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations and administrative activities of the Examinations Board's research programs
• Oversee promotion of KASNEB and its qualifications nationally, regionally, and internationally
• Ensure sound management of the Examinations Board's research programs
• Develop new research programs and ensure KASNEB compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Lead identification of potential partnerships, negotiate agreements, and build collaborative relationships and stakeholder engagement activities
• Ensure implementation and fulfillment of research standards
• Develop new strategies, partnerships, consultancy, and business development programs
• Ensure implementation and fulfillment of strategy, partnerships, consultancy, and business development policies
• Liaise with related professional bodies, agencies, and departments in executing research activities
• Enforce Patent and Copyright registration

Required Qualifications

• Cumulative service of fifteen (15) years' work experience, with a minimum of three (3) years at the grade of Deputy Director or comparable position
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Education, Finance, Law, Information Communication Technology, Forensic Examination, or other relevant field from a recognized institution
• Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Education, Finance, Law, or Information Communication Technology (preferred)
