Consultant Obstetrician/ Gynaecologist

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Zuri Health. The Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred gynaecological care to women across our physical and virtual care platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) from a recognised institution
• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMed, equivalent fellowship, or board certification) from an accredited institution
• Full registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and a valid practising licence with current professional indemnity cover
• At least 12-18 months of relevant post-specialisation clinical experience, preferably in a busy hospital or clinical setting
• Demonstrated experience in outpatient gynaecology and women's reproductive health services

Key Skills and Experience

• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient management skills
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and hospital management systems
• Experience providing telemedicine or digital health consultations (advantageous)
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to digital health platforms and tools
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving access to quality healthcare
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
