About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our expanding team at AAR Hospital. In this role, you will manage patients requiring obstetrics and gynaecology care across both outpatient and inpatient departments, ensuring the delivery of quality and safe services to all disciplines that require obstetrics and gynaecology expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessment, treatment, and stabilization using specialized procedures to provide curative services in line with established protocols
- Provide clinical support during emergencies, including resuscitation, and manage patient admission, discharge, or referral to appropriate consultants and units
- Promote patient-centered care across all clinical interactions
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality assessment plans to ensure continuous improvement of obstetrics and gynaecology department services
- Ensure appropriate documentation is completed and maintained in accordance with hospital standards
- Contribute to the departmental clinical quality assurance system, including regular clinical audits and reviews of patient care
- Participate in mortality and morbidity reviews and attend regular clinical meetings to ensure quality of services
- Actively participate in research and development initiatives and raise awareness of the hospital's research programs at the forefront of science in patient care
- Assist in planning and setting departmental priorities through quality improvement and patient safety activities
- Review clinical-related patient complaints and ensure satisfactory resolution with appropriate corrective and preventive actions
- Work with established consultants to ensure equitable provision of obstetrics and gynaecology services across all departments
