About the Role
Bank of Africa Kenya Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Officer to join its Human Resources team in Nairobi. This position plays a crucial role in managing employee compensation, benefits administration, and related compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time in coordination with external providers
- Oversee timely disbursement of salaries, medical aid, insurance, and other employee benefits
- Perform monthly reconciliation of HR accounts and collaborate with other departments as needed
- Provide data insights and analysis to support HR initiatives and strategic decision-making
- Administer staff offboarding processes, including final dues processing and certificates of service
- Support compensation and benefits budgeting through comprehensive data analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations governing compensation and benefits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration, preferably in the financial services industry
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CHRP, CPA, or ACCA
