Communications Officer at Education for all Children- EFAC

Key Responsibilities

• Create and produce multimedia content across various formats
• Manage social media accounts and execute social media campaigns
• Manage website content and digital platforms
• Participate in brand messaging strategy and development
• Plan and manage organizational events
• Develop and execute fundraising and strategic partnership campaigns
• Design and disseminate internal and external publications including newsletters, magazines, and reports

Technical Requirements

Proficiency with the following tools and platforms:

• Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Canva for rapid design production
• Google Analytics for monitoring digital engagement
• Hootsuite or similar tools for social media scheduling and analytics
• Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or equivalent)
• Content Management Systems (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, Public Relations, Film/Multimedia Production, or a related field
• Additional certifications in videography, photography, digital marketing, graphic design, or web design are advantageous

Professional Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience, preferably in media, journalism, or the non-profit sector
• Proven experience producing multimedia content including videos, photography, and graphic design
• Demonstrable portfolio of creative work showcasing design, video, and photography
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and campaigns
• Strong understanding of current social media technologies and platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Advanced technical abilities in graphic, photo, and video storytelling
