## Title: Manager, Communications, Engagement & Public Relations

Role Overview

inABLE seeks an accomplished and visionary Manager, Communications, Engagement & Public Relations to lead the organisation's communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, and brand positioning across Africa and beyond.

This is an executive role that requires a results-driven leader who can elevate inABLE's voice, strengthen partnerships, and position the organisation as the top-of-mind authority on digital accessibility and inclusion. The successful candidate will spearhead brand visibility, media engagement, and digital outreach to grow inABLE's impact, influence, and reach across the continent.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy that amplifies inABLE's mission, programs, and global influence
  • Lead brand positioning and ensure consistent, inspiring messaging across all communication channels and audiences
  • Anticipate emerging trends and advise leadership on communication opportunities, innovations, and risks
  • Represent inABLE in high-level communications forums, media interactions, and stakeholder engagements
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication, stakeholder engagement and public relations strategies to support inABLE's programs and targeted national and regional growth

Brand Visibility and Public Relations

  • Drive proactive media and public relations strategies that strengthen inABLE's visibility and thought leadership in Africa's digital inclusion ecosystem
  • Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with media, development partners, donors, and influencers
  • Lead the design and execution of flagship communications events, campaigns, and conferences that spotlight inABLE's work and impact
  • Oversee crisis communication, ensuring reputational resilience and strategic response management
