An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. JOB PURPOSE:
  • The Debt Collection Officer will be responsible for collection of payments from insurances and other hospital payers/debtors, maintaining accurate reconciliation and accounting records, providing accurate and timely collection reports and ensures the same is maintained in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures of the organization.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • CPA II/Diploma in credit management or its equivalent (Mandatory)
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or in progress.
  • A Minimum of 5 years' experience in collection in a busy hospital preferably a level 4 and above. (Mandatory)
  • Accounting, Finance and collection Skills.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
