Certification and Capacity Building Officer I at Warehouse Receipt System Council- WRSC

About the Role

The Warehouse Receipt System Council (WRSC) is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a talented Certification and Capacity Building Officer I to join us in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct public sensitization on the operations, roles, responsibilities, accessibility, and benefits of the Warehouse Receipt System (WRS)
• Undertake capacity building initiatives with relevant stakeholders in relation to agricultural commodities
• Design and deliver relevant training programs according to established schedules
• Communicate training program information to relevant stakeholders
• Prepare comprehensive reports on training programs undertaken
• Consolidate and maintain attendance records of training participants
• Verify the validity and authenticity of certificates issued under the Act
• Prepare reports on the performance and operation of Collateral Managers

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of service in the grade of Certification and Compliance Officer II
• Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and measurable results
