## Title: Call Center Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Call Center Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for callers, managing communications efficiently and professionally across our organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage emergency calls and transfer them to appropriate departments, ensuring callers reach the correct staff member
  • Answer internal and external calls (local and international) and transfer as needed
  • Take and relay messages accurately
  • Provide information and assistance regarding telephone numbers and place calls as requested
  • Handle inquiries and refer them to the appropriate person or service
  • Greet and direct visitors, providing assistance as required
  • Receive messages via email and forward them to intended recipients or through internal mail
  • Maintain and update the electronic telephone directory
  • Perform typing, photocopying, and document completion and distribution for reception and telephone services
  • Maintain the Call Center Bulletin Board and Notice Board with regular updates
  • Operate standard office equipment proficiently, including personal computers, calculators, photocopiers, and fax machines
  • Monitor appropriate use of telephone and conference call services by staff and faculty
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide reports as required
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mass Communication
  • 3 years of working experience in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
