About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to join our expanding team at Veteran Mission Hospital. You will drive growth across multiple revenue streams and help establish strategic partnerships that strengthen our market position.
Core Responsibilities
- Source new business opportunities, partners, and revenue streams
- Execute growth plans for OPD, clinics, pharmacy, lab, imaging, maternity services, and corporate/insurance clients
- Engage corporates, schools, NGOs, and insurers to develop wellness and medical service agreements
- Manage client accounts, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Lead medical outreach initiatives, promotions, and branding activities
- Monitor competition, industry trends, and prepare strategic reports and proposals
- Enhance client retention, gather feedback, and improve overall client satisfaction
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare marketing, or client relations (hospital or pharmaceutical experience preferred)
- Strong networking abilities with proven experience in corporate and insurance partnership development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills
- Target, budget, and KPI-driven approach to work
- High integrity, professionalism, and genuine passion for healthcare
Added Advantages
- Experience in hospital or clinic operations
- Knowledge of health insurance sector
- Medical sales background
- Familiarity with SHA (Social Health Authority), private insurers, and healthcare contracting processes
