Business Development Officer at Kenya Women Microfinance

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth through marketing banking products, client recruitment, and relationship management while maintaining portfolio health.

Key Responsibilities

• Market banking products to potential clients
• Recruit and onboard new clients
• Process loan applications
• Evaluate business proposals and client creditworthiness
• Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor loan repayments and maintain a healthy loan portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work and travel as required
