About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to drive growth and identify new business opportunities for our organization. This role offers the opportunity to develop strategic partnerships, expand market presence, and contribute to the company's success across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services through market surveys, internet searches, network activation and referrals
- Research industry trends by analyzing industry events, publications and announcements to identify trendsetter ideas
- Understand target markets including industry dynamics, company profiles, projects, contacts and relevant market strategies to attract clients
- Evaluate potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financial viability; presenting recommendations
- Develop deep knowledge of business services and products, effectively communicating value propositions to prospective clients
- Plan and execute sales campaigns, building a robust sales pipeline
- Respond proactively to RFPs, tenders and develop sales in new territories
- Develop competitive quotes and proposals for potential clients
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating terms with business operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and business partners, identifying growth opportunities
- Implement customer service initiatives to enhance customer experience, build brand loyalty and strengthen company reputation
- Analyze customer base and sales strategies to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability
- Represent the company at exhibitions and trade fairs to enhance brand positioning
- Collaborate with the business development team on promotional strategies and activities
- Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue and relevant business data
- Train and mentor business development team members; coordinate external training initiatives with HR
