Job Summary

The Branch Manager will be responsible for marketing, customer service, public relations, operations, management, and overall running of the Kisii branch. The role performs oversight functions across core duties and staff within the assigned branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement marketing strategy for the region in line with overall company objectives
• Contribute to the development of operational policies for the achievement of corporate plans as stipulated in the Business Strategy
• Comply with and monitor established policies, procedures, and applicable regulations in branch operations
• Lead in maintaining and improving customer service by implementing company customer experience standards to achieve customer satisfaction
• Communicate management goals and objectives to staff through branch meetings
• Supervise, train, and develop staff to ensure technical competence in performing duties
• Implement and monitor the Performance Management process for effective and efficient service delivery aligned with company business goals
• Ensure branch profitability and revenue growth
• Manage direct client sales, corporate sales, and intermediary sales
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and intermediary relationships
• Achieve branch revenue budget and growth targets
• Manage business renewals and customer retention
• Oversee recruitment, training, and licensing of intermediaries
• Handle customer service and complaints management
• Manage credit control and premium collection
• Maintain the branch cash book
• Conduct market research and gather business intelligence
• Ensure accurate and competitive quotations are prepared and delivered promptly to prospective clients, brokers, and agents
• Manage general administration of the branch office
• Foster and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
