Biomedical Engineer (Dental Supplies)

A top employer is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to manage the installation, configuration, testing, and support of dental medical equipment across healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of installation sites to ensure space, utilities, and environmental conditions meet equipment requirements
• Coordinate with hospital and healthcare facility staff to prepare installation sites, including space clearance, power outlets, and necessary infrastructure
• Create detailed installation plans considering layout, equipment dimensions, utilities, and facility workflow
• Develop installation timelines to ensure minimal disruption to facility operations
• Set up equipment in designated areas with proper alignment, placement, and connections to power, data, and utility systems
• Perform initial calibration of equipment to manufacturer-specified standards for accuracy, sensitivity, and performance
• Configure software settings according to specific healthcare facility and end-user needs
• Conduct comprehensive testing of installed equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and software system checks
• Perform safety tests including electrical safety, leakage current tests, grounding checks, and hospital safety protocol compliance
• Provide training to hospital staff, technicians, and medical personnel on equipment operation, safety protocols, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Maintain comprehensive records of all running warranties
• Formally hand over equipment to clients with complete documentation, including test results, calibration certificates, warranties, and compliance documents
• Serve as the first point of contact for equipment issues and malfunctions, conducting on-site troubleshooting
