About the Role
Bank of Africa Kenya Limited is seeking a qualified Banking Officer – Sales Coordination to join our team in Nairobi. This position is responsible for managing and executing sales strategies, coordinating sales initiatives across branches, and driving business growth through effective market penetration and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute sales strategies, analyze market trends, and guide branches on business opportunities
- Coordinate sales initiatives, align local campaigns, and monitor performance against established goals
- Manage an efficient sales pipeline and lead tracking system while coordinating business plans and market penetration strategies
- Implement dynamic customer journey initiatives and participate in cost optimization programs to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Minimum 5 years of banking experience, with at least 4 years in sales and sales management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business sales, the current banking and financial services operating environment, and related products and services
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to guide and influence productivity across people of various backgrounds and objectives
- Strong understanding of market needs and ability to identify suitable business solutions
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and business environments
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
