## Title: Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer to drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned dealerships in Nairobi. This position combines sales leadership, customer engagement, and market intelligence to achieve business objectives in the automotive aftermarket sector.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Attainment

  • Achieve revenue targets per part line across assigned dealerships
  • Drive sell-out sales and SKU expansion through proactive planning
  • Monitor and exceed dealer revenue targets through performance tracking
  • Analyze and optimize conversion rates throughout the sales funnel

Sales Operations

  • Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate in setting annual sales objectives for the territory

Customer Support

  • Support customer engagement through forums and feedback collection
  • Communicate information about new products and services
  • Ensure adherence to CRM usage and route plans
  • Provide timely escalation of customer issues to dealers

Reporting & Analytics

  • Collate daily target achievement data
  • Track and analyze monthly trends within assigned markets
  • Prepare dashboards for weekly reviews
  • Submit regular reports on territory performance, dealer metrics, and action plans

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor and report on competitor activities
  • Identify customer needs and suggest relevant parts or services
  • Provide actionable market insights to leadership

Market Activation

  • Plan and execute ground marketing initiatives including road shows, market storms, and promotional activations

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Graduate degree or diploma/certificate in automotive or mechanical engineering
  • KCSE grade C or equivalent
  • Understanding of motor vehicle parts and services (advantageous)

Experience

  • At least one year of experience in outdoor sales, marketing, promotions, merchandising, or brand ambassador roles
