## Title: Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer to drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned dealerships in Nairobi, Kenya. This role combines sales strategy, customer engagement, market intelligence, and ground activation to maximize dealer performance and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Sales Performance

  • Attain revenue targets per part line and overall territory goals
  • Drive sell-out sales (revenue and SKU expansion) across assigned dealerships
  • Achieve or exceed dealer revenue targets through proactive planning and performance monitoring
  • Monitor and improve conversion rates from the sales funnel
  • Collaborate in setting annual sales objectives for the territory

Sales Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures
  • Recommend and implement process improvements

Customer Support & Engagement

  • Support customer engagement through forums and feedback collection
  • Communicate new product information to customers
  • Adhere to CRM usage and route plans
  • Provide timely escalation of customer issues to dealers

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor and report on competitor activities
  • Provide customer insights through identification and recommendation of parts or services that meet customer needs

Reporting & Analytics

  • Perform daily collation of target achievement
  • Track and analyze monthly trends within assigned markets
  • Prepare dashboards for weekly reviews
  • Submit regular reports on territory performance, dealer metrics, and action plans

Market Activation

  • Plan and execute ground marketing initiatives including road shows, market storms, and activations

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate degree or Diploma/Certificate in automotive or mechanical engineering
  • KCSE Grade C or above
  • Understanding of motor vehicle parts and service (added advantage)

Experience

  • At least one year's experience in outdoor sales, marketing, promotions, merchandising, or brand ambassador roles
