Associate Professor - Public Health at Embu University College

Position Overview

Embu University College is recruiting an Associate Professor at Grade 14 to join the Public Health department.

Required Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant area of specialty
• Minimum eight (8) years of university teaching experience, with at least three (3) years as full-time Senior Lecturer

Academic and Research Requirements

• Minimum forty-eight (48) publication points, with at least thirty-two (32) from articles in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Successful supervision to completion of at least five (5) Master's degree students and one (1) PhD student since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Demonstrated attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Evidence of continued active research
