Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic professional to join our expanding team as an Associate Professor at the Law department.

Position Details

Grade: Grade 14

Location: Embu, Kenya

Required Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant area of specialty
• Minimum eight (8) years of university teaching experience, with at least three (3) years as a full-time Senior Lecturer
• Minimum forty-eight (48) publication points, with at least thirty-two (32) points from articles published in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Successful supervision to completion of at least five (5) Master's degree students and one (1) PhD student since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Demonstrated success in securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Senior Lecturer
• Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Evidence of active participation and/or leadership in university activities
• Evidence of continued research engagement
