Associate Professor - Community Health at Embu University College

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Embu University College as an Associate Professor in Community Health at Grade 14.

Required Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant area of specialty
• Minimum eight (8) years of university teaching experience, with at least three (3) years as full-time Senior Lecturer
• At least forty-eight (48) publication points, with a minimum of thirty-two (32) points from articles in refereed scholarly journals since Senior Lecturer appointment
• Successful supervision to completion of at least five (5) Master's degree students and one (1) PhD student since Senior Lecturer appointment
• Evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since Senior Lecturer appointment

Required Experience and Evidence

• Attendance and active contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Active participation and/or leadership in university activities
• Demonstrated commitment to continued research
