Role Purpose
The role holder is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Jubilee-owned buildings. The position requires ensuring that buildings are well-maintained, safe, and meet the needs of occupants. The role holder plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient facility operation, creating a positive environment for tenants and occupants, while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
Building Maintenance
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure building infrastructure, systems, and equipment are properly maintained and comply with safety regulations
- Supervise and participate in preventive maintenance of building components including floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, locks, fixtures, and furniture
- Assess maintenance and repair needs on all mechanical systems and equipment
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
Facility Management
- Manage and supervise cleaning, security, waste management, and other facility-related services
- Ensure the building remains clean, secure, and well-maintained at all times
- Manage community areas within the building property and prepare them for scheduled activities
Tenant Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and occupants regarding facility-related issues or concerns
- Address tenant complaints and resolve conflicts professionally
- Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
Staff Management and Safety
- Ensure a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- Monitor employee productivity and provide suggestions for improved service and productivity
- Evaluate and supervise building staff
- Assign work tasks and train new employees
