Role Purpose
The role holder is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Jubilee-owned buildings. The position ensures that buildings are well-maintained, safe, and meet the needs of occupants. The role holder plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient facility operation, creating a positive environment for tenants and occupants, while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Coordinate and oversee building maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure that building infrastructure, systems, and equipment are properly maintained and comply with safety regulations
- Supervise and participate in preventive maintenance of building components including floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, locks, fixtures, and furniture
- Manage and supervise cleaning, security, waste management, and other facility-related services
- Ensure the building remains clean, secure, and well-maintained at all times
Tenant and Staff Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants or occupants regarding facility-related issues and concerns
- Address tenant complaints, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensure a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- Monitor employee productivity and provide suggestions for improved service and productivity
Technical and Administrative Duties
- Assess maintenance and repair needs for all mechanical systems and equipment
- Perform light maintenance tasks as required
- Evaluate and supervise building staff, assign work tasks, and train new employees
- Manage community areas within the building property and prepare them for scheduled events
