## Title: Assistant Manager, IT Security

Job Purpose

The role involves management and monitoring of the security of the infrastructure and platforms to ensure the principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability are upheld. The responsibilities include implementing approved security measures according to CIB's policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Security Controls

  • Ensure the availability of end-to-end IT security controls covering perimeter, branches, DMZ, access layer, third-party connections, data centre firewalls, and endpoints to maintain unified and compliant policies across the organization
  • Ensure the availability and efficient operations of end-to-end network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), to provide required assurance regarding the effectiveness of security measures and approved controls
  • Monitor the performance of security applications in scope and ensure a healthy, risk-free secure network connectivity throughout the entire organization

Strategy & Implementation

  • Assist with implementation of the Bank's strategy, roadmap, and delivery plans for IT Security in coordination with the network, applications, and information security teams
  • Provide technical IT security expertise to Bank projects and provide required assurance regarding the readiness of security controls
  • Review and critique network security solutions in alignment with the network officer to evaluate alignment to operational and mission requirements across scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, flexibility, availability, and manageability

Monitoring & Advisory

  • Monitor, report, and provide the network officer with network security trends and advice regarding changes in policy, procedures, and tools to enhance the network security posture
