We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Job specifications For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have: -
  • Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Principal Engineer (Roads) or in a comparable position;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Master’s Degree in any of the following discipline: Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Environmental Management, or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Professional qualification and membership to Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
  • Valid Annual Practicing License from the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
  • Membership to the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK);
  • Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
