About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our expanding Human Resource Management and Development team at Kenya Rural Roads Authority. This is an opportunity to lead HR initiatives and contribute to organizational excellence.

Qualifications Required

Professional Experience

• Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years in relevant work experience
• A minimum of three (3) years at the grade of Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer or in a comparable position

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet ONE of the following educational requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution; OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Sociology, or Business Administration from a recognized institution, plus a Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution

Additionally, candidates should possess:

• Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (Human Resource specialization), or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Professional Certifications and Membership

• Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) Course from a recognized institution
• Current and valid practicing certificate from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
• Active membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management in good standing

Additional Requirements

• Completion of a Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and measurable results
