Art/Design Technology (DT) Room Assistant – High School at Braeburn Schools

We are seeking a motivated and creative Art/DT Room Assistant to join our High School team. The successful candidate will support the Art and Design Technology departments in maintaining a safe, organized, and inspiring learning environment for our students. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in setting up and preparing materials, tools, and resources for lessons.

• Maintain and organize the Art and DT rooms, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficient use of materials.

• Support students during practical sessions, encouraging creativity and safe working practices.

• Assist with displays of student work and exhibition setups.

• Ensure all tools, machines, and materials are properly stored and maintained.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A diploma or certificate in Art, Design Technology, or a related field is an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of Art/DT tools, equipment, and safety procedures.

• Practical, organized, and safety-conscious with good attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students in a busy learning environment.

• Creative, proactive, and supportive in fostering students’ artistic and design skills.
