About the Position

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy at United States International University – Africa seeks qualified applicants who fulfil the Kenyan Commission for University Education (CUE) and Pharmacy and Poison Board (PPB) requirements as Adjunct Faculty in Pharmacognosy.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in pharmacognosy specialization
• Support and mentor students in their career endeavors
• Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure programs remain current and marketable
• Participate in program assessment and reviews
• Engage in research in your area of expertise
• Provide service to the University, the profession, and the community
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (required)
• Master of Science degree in respective specializations (required)
• PhD in respective specializations (added advantage)

Professional Experience

• Previous teaching experience (preferred)
• Previous industry experience in natural product research (added advantage)
• Requisite technological skills for remote teaching
